Cannolis: this pastry of Italian origin is well known for it's crispy, golden shell and creamy ricotta filling. Historians believe that this sweet treat originated from a commune called Caltanissetta in Sicily. They were eaten at festivals and during the Carnival season as a dessert! Nowadays, you can find them at your local Italian bakery. If you haven't tried them yet, we highly recommend you do!

Fun Fact! Today (June 15th) is National Gummi Worm Day! Although not very widely known, we thought that it would be fun to share this interesting fact, so head to your local store today and celebrate by enjoying some gummi worms!

Ingredients:
1 ½ Flour
1-1 ½ cups of Milk
½ teaspoon Vanilla Extract
1 cup of Sugar
2 tablespoons Soft Butter
1 ½ cup Baking Soda
1 cup Baking Powder
1 cup Cocoa Powder (Unsweetened)
1-2 Eggs
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit
Strain the mixture of baking powder, salt, cocoa powder, baking soda, and flour
Mix butter and sugar together and add eggs and the vanilla extract
Pour mixture into the cups on the tray
Place in oven and let it cool before adding additional toppings
